It’s pretty much a tradition around these parts – bluebonnet photos in the spring. Usually the end of March and the first two weeks of April is the best time to capture those memories with the Texas State Flower. These sessions are best done about two hours before sunset, although if that’s not the best time for your little one, we can always schedule in the morning. I like to go to Balcones Park – it’s close to the Domain and it’s usually not crowded. I’ve also found a few patches near Bull Creek and down Shoal Creek. Bluebonnet photo spots changes a little bit each year, so I’m always on the lookout for new locations!
